Molecular Motion Demonstrator

Procedure

  1. Place demonstrator on top of the overhead projector.

  2. Select the proper ball set and accessory for the theory you wish to demonstrate.

  3. Put the specified number and type of balls within the frame. Turn on the motor and adjust the speed until the desired motion is achieved.

  4. Turn on and focus the overhead projector.

  5. The demonstrator is essentially a four-sided frame mounted over a glass plate. A low-voltage D.C. motor vibrates the frame over a range of speeds.
